Services

I have an accessible and sensory-friendly office located in Toowoomba QLD. I also provide services Australia-wide via telehealth.

Therapy works best when you find the person who gets you. I offer a free 15-minute chat to get to know me and ask any questions you might have before we get started.

There’s no pressure to commit to anything and you can take time to decide if it’s a good fit for you before booking your first appointment. I promise I won’t be offended if you ghost me!

  • I offer therapeutic support for children, young people, and adults. In our 50-minute counselling session, we’ll work together on the areas of your life that you may be struggling with. It’s okay if you don’t know what's bothering you or why you’re feeling the way you are, we can start working from there!

I work with people who may need support with:

    • Anxiety and depression

    • Trauma

    • Gender identity, sexuality, and self-expression

    • Neurodivergent identity

    • Self-esteem and self-worth

    • Relationships, boundaries, sex, and consent

    • Life stressors (work, school, study, family, extracurriculars, etc.)

    • The effects of family, intimate partner, sexual and/or community/lateral violence

We can incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches into our work. These include (but aren’t limited to):

    • Trauma-informed care

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

    • Collaborative problem-solving and solution-focused approaches

    • Narrative therapy

    • Art/creative modalities

    • Relaxation and mindfulness strategies

    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • As a social worker, I work from an ecological systems perspective. This means I don't individualise problems. Instead, I understand humans are impacted by their:

    • Immediate environment (family, friends, carers, home, school, work)

    • Extended environment (education system, community and health, services, government agencies, politics, media, economic situation)

    • Broader environment (dominant attitudes, norms, culture, and ideologies of our society)

I know that these systems can be hard to navigate. We can work together on an ongoing basis to:

    • Identify your needs, strengths, and goals

    • Create a plan that will meet your needs and work towards your goals

    • Help build your informal and formal supports

    • Refer you to additional services if needed and advocate alongside you

    • Provide regular check-ins and support around how you’re progressing

    • Review the plan to make sure it’s still working for you (and change as needed)

    • Reflect on and celebrate your wins!

This type of support is sometimes called case management. It can be helpful during times when you feel stuck, isolated, or like life is too chaotic to manage alone.

  • Groups can be a great place to meet new people and learn new skills. The second Friday of every month you can join me for Art in the Park, where we get creative and make connections.

Keep an eye on my social media and Eventbrite for other one-off events or programs!

  • I provide tailored consulting and workshops for organisations and businesses on a range of topics, including making your space/service a safer place for queer and/or neurodivergent people.
